Roller Hockey World Championship Montreux 2007
From 16 - 23 june 2007, in the Pierrier hall at Montreux-Clarens (Switzerland)
Over 300 players and delegates from 16 countries.
8 days and 48 matches.
15'000 spectators are expected.
2'000 spectators can be accomodated in the Pierrier hall.
Excellent train and bus connections to the venue – preferable to parking in the streets
250 volunteers – Download forms for Self-registration. 

Ticket prices range from (Swiss Francs) CHF 20 – CHF 40 for each day or evening event of 4 matches, and from CHF 25 – CHF 50 for each evening finals event of 4 matches. 

3 season tickets are available:
1) General Season Ticket: CHF 135 – CHF 300 for all 48 matches of the World Championship
2) Finals Season Ticket: CHF 100 – CHF 220 for 24 matches
3) “Follow-my-Team” Season Ticket: CHF 100 – CHF 160 to attend 6 matches played by your team as well as the other three matches in each event where you follow your team.

Numerous stalls offering culinary delights to tempt the taste buds.
Souvenirs are on sale during the World Championship.
Conferences, seminars and organised activities for the young - our goal is to promote roller hockey as a sport for young people!

The public Opening Ceremony will take place on the Place du Marche, central Montreux – everyone is welcome.

The origin of Roller Hockey
The first records of roller hockey date from between 1850 – 1875. The sport originated in the Duchy of Kent, England. The first rules of the game were written in 1875 by The Men’s Hockey Association of London.
